Afton Angler Scholarship Fund
“The best way to secure a future for our Great Waters is to produce Great Stewards.” - Brad Bohen
The Afton Angler is committed to conservation work and is always looking for ways to improve habitat. All of the habitat work in the world is for naught if we do not Pass It On - that is, pass on a love for our sport and the great resource of the natural world to the next generation of anglers.
In keeping with his Put Up or Shut Up philosophy, Brad Bohen is proud to announce the annual Afton Angler Scholarship Fund. The Afton Angler will annually select a recipient to be awarded a cash scholarship to use in pursuit of higher learning.
The Afton Angler will set aside 5% of after-tax earnings for this fund as well as provide the industry with an avenue to contribute to the scholarship of an outstanding young individual who is passionate about our fly fishing landscape and about furthering their education.
